What is Padel?
Padel is a racquet sport which mixes aspects of tennis and squash, and combines action with fun and social interaction. It’s a great sport for players of all ages and skills, as it is both quick and easy to pick up. Most players get the basics of padel within the first half an hour of playing so that they can enjoy the game. Padel is currently the fastest growing sport in the world.
Well-known stars like David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Roger Federer and Lionel Messi are padel enthusiasts. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Zinedine Zidane, Rafael Nadal, and Andy Murray have also invested in several padel facilities to grow the sport further.

Played in doubles on a smaller enclosed court surrounded by walls of glass and metallic mash, padel involves the use of a padel racquet and a ball that is similar to a low compression tennis ball.
The rules of padel resemble tennis, but with underhand serves and a double-bounce requirement before volleying. The ball can bounce off any wall but can only hit the turf once before being returned. Points are earned when opponents fail to return the ball correctly. Padel matches typically consist of best-of-three sets, and the scoring system employs a no-advantage approach. The serve alternates between players in each game. To win a set, a player must reach six games with a two-game lead. However, if the score is tied at 6-6, a tie-breaker is played to determine the set winner.
A crucial aspect of playing padel is match-craft, where points are earned through strategic moves rather than solely relying on raw strength and power.
